Al-Nabaa Forum Envoy and Iraqi Ambassador to Rome Discuss Global Political Developments

The envoy of Al-Nabaa Forum for Dialogue, Dr. Khalid Ealiwi Al-Ardawi, discussed political developments on the international stage and the development of relations with research and academic institutions with the Ambassador of Iraq to Rome, Sewan Barzani.

The two sides discussed research and academic work, emphasizing the need to strengthen the Forum's relationship with research and academic institutions in Rome, as well as with the Kurdistan Regional Government, and to organize meetings.

The Iraqi Ambassador, Sewan Barzani, welcomed the Forum's efforts in promoting interfaith dialogue, affirming his readiness to provide the necessary support.

Speaking to Al-Nabaa News Agency, Al-Ardawi stated: "We represented Al-Nabaa Forum for Dialogue in the official meetings held with His Excellency the Ambassador, Sewan Barzani, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Rome, and we found positive engagement, professional work, and constructive cooperation."

Al-Ardawi discussed with Ambassador Barzani political developments on the international stage, the work of research centers, civil society organizations, and diplomatic relations, highlighting their importance in bridging gaps and emphasizing positive turning points in which Iraq could play a role. Al-Ardawi also outlined his participation in the conference on Christian Pilgrimage to Iraq, issues of Muslim-Christian dialogue, cooperation with Vatican institutions, and hosting relevant delegations, figures, and organizations.

Additionally, the envoy of Al-Nabaa Forum for Dialogue participated in a panel discussion titled "Our Roots in Human Fraternity," held last Saturday with the participation of religious organizations and institutions in cooperation with the Forum in the city of Padua, northeastern Italy. The panel aimed to promote dialogue and advance the Forum’s goal of expanding cooperation with official and unofficial institutions, presenting Iraq's true, positive image in international forums.
